Galen Hiestand offers a broad range of knowledge and experience to his coaching clients. For over forty years he has served as mentor, pastor, corporate executive, consultant, administrator, international leader, and advisor to people in all walks of life.
Living life fully alive is the heart of Galen’s passion. He calls forth his clients to listen to their heart, to believe in their resourcefulness, and to be creative in realizing their dreams.
Galen understands life’s challenges and transitions. He champions his clients to face their fears and experience the freedom and fullness of life. As a Co-Active coach he holds each client as a unique and wonderful creation of God. He is professionally certified to assist each one in self-discovery with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, DISC, Spiritual Gifts, Pro-D, and Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis tools.
Galen’s coaching focuses on the inner work of the soul and its expression in the life and environment of the client. His clients are extra-ordinary men and women who are inspired to be all that God intended them to be! He welcomes you to enrich your life as well.
For the past thirty-eight years Galen and his wife Carol have enjoyed living in Nebraska, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. They have three sons (now married to wonderful daughters-in-law) and six grand children: four grandsons and two granddaughters.
He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton College (BS), Trinity Divinity School (M-Div), and Wheaton Graduate School (MA in Communications). He is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
